Ramp does brand elevation work including for Love to Grow. Trish mentioned Ramp in a newspaper article recently about how both Love to Grow and Ramp have a very similar focus on business growth.
Trish says that “ the rebranding exercise with Ramp helped us better communicate our core value proposition. It was a critical step in our own growth and has directly increased Love to Grow’s value. We know this by the amount of work that has come in since, that has specifically referred to our new branding. Dealing with Ramp resulted in a very good cashflow return on the original investment”
Ramp is a Wellington based brand elevation agency, formed in 2003. It was formed when its principal, Stephen Reid was working as a freelance advertising art director. After nearly ten years of working for advertising, design agencies and direct marketing agencies and seeing how brands would hop between each in order to create integrated work, he knew that they didn’t need to. There was an opportunity to create a bridge between the disciplines, to help the thinking of each one to cross freely in both directions, and add value to each project.

Our core business is adding value to our clients’ organisations and brands.
We do this through strategic and creative work in advertising, design, web opportunities or something completely different that none of us has thought of yet.
We add value to our clients’ projects by the way we think about them. Our integrated way of thinking offers deeper, wider thinking and the opportunity for our work to work harder for our clients.
Even the most simple design project can benefit from this approach as we knit the thinking from a range of disciplines into it. It’s not complicating a project, but rather giving it more dimension and value for our clients. Brand identities that communicate a customer benefit and advertising that enjoys the value of great design are just some of the ways we add value.
This ability to ‘cross pollinate’ the thinking between each marketing discipline is one of the hallmarks of our work.
We work with existing brands and develop new brands.
One of our main points of difference is in being able to develop a new brand through all channels to reach its audiences. We’re not a design specialist trying to do ads, and not an ad agency who designs logos because we have to. We’re a brand elevation agency, seeing and understanding the bigger picture for a brand and able to work with them at every step of the way.
The benchmark for our work is the needs of our clients’ customers and as such we ensure all of our work is based on strong strategy around developed around those needs.
We have a size and structure that enables cost and time efficiencies, and helps to create personal working relationships with our clients. It also enables us to get a greater understanding of our clients’ business needs and more intimate knowledge of the drivers, challenges and ambitions of our clients.
We like our clients to enjoy close working relationships with our team and as such, they have the ability to work alongside each of the Ramp team members to bring their work to life. A central contact takes responsibility for overall project management to ensure consistency.
Our core team of four develops and produces our key outputs – strategic, creative (design and copy) and production work. Our extended Ramp team – a team of consultants – share their expertise in strategy, production, media and web development, and enhance our core services when required.
